Patrick Mendis教授简历：
Born in Sri Lanka and educated in the British and American systems, Patrick Mendis has hold senior positions in U.S. Department of Statean during the Clinton and Bush administrations. He is currently a Distinguished Senior Fellow and Affiliate Professor of Public and International Affairs at George Mason University. His new book ”Peaceful War: How the Chinese Dream and the American Destiny Create a Pacific New World Order“, provides an epic analysis of the unfolding drama between the clashing forces of the Chinese dream and American destiny in the Indian and Pacific Oceans and beyond. He is also a distinguished visiting professor at the Center for American Studies at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. Dr. Mendis is an advisor to Harvard International Review and a fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science.
