Job Responsibilities (but not limited to): Media monitoring; database updated; translation, administrative assistance, etc.

Media Monitoring:

We do a daily or weekly media monitoring both in Chinese and English, and write media summary in English or Chinese (which depends on clients' demands). There are three search tools to monitor international, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan media coverage. 

(1) International Media: Factiva

·         Website: www.factiva.com

·         Procedure: Search—Search Builder—Free Text Search (key words of the client)—Language (English)--Search

(2) Mainland Media: Baidu news

·         Website: news.baidu.com

·         Procedure: Input the key words to search news on Baidu News.

(3) Hong Kong & Taiwan media: Wiser

·         Website: http://prd1-wisesearch.wisers.net/ws5/index.do

·         Procedure: Input your keywords in English and Traditional Chinese

Database Update:

We have client database and media database and need to update the database regularly.

Requirements:

·         Add new client or media information

·         Update the old information of clients and media outlets

·         Ensure consistent format   

Translation

To translate some materials from EN to CN and CN to EN to support the client team. It is flexible work.

Admin assistance:

(1) Answer the phone in the office

(2) Manage business cards

Requirements:

·         Input the complete information of the name cards, including Full Name, Company Name, Job Title, Email, Phone Number and Address in English

·         Please input Name, Company Name and Address in Chinese in the Notes.
